The total EPS one student will get in the whole year will be divided by total credits offered in one year, and the net CGPA will be calculated from that result. No credit will be gained for those get below ‘D grade’ rather that is deliberated as ‘F grade’. If one can improve from the F grade to a higher, then the credit will be included in the CGPA.

GPA=      ΣPS (Total Point Secured in a Year)

ΣCR (Total Credit offered in a Year)

CGPA =    ETPS of (1st year + 2nd year + 3rd year + 4th year) + Earned Grade point/points

Total number of credits completed in the whole program

  • From 1st year to 2nd-year promotion, students have to achieve minimum D in 3 subjects in the theoretical exam to get promoted. Same rules for 2nd year to 3rd But, for the final year promotion, Minimum D in 4 subjects are needed.
  • Absence in one course but the presence in the others in the exam, if they are passed, they will be promoted in the next year. But he/she has to attend the ‘Absent’ course in the following year mandatorily.
  • A student can get a chance to improve his/her F grade in the following year. That means if one fails in one course in the 1st year then he/she’ll get a chance to improve his grade in the next year. But if a student does the same thing again, he/she‘ll not be promoted to next year.
