History of Walton Group
Walton is a popular Bangladeshi brand. It was founded in 1977 as a trading company by SM Nurul Alam TRezvi. At that time, Walton was diversified into textiles, steel, automobiles, and electronics. In early 2000, Walton expanded its business and entered the field of cars and electronics. This was the best source of income for Walton. This brand’s main office is in Gazipur. Various subsidiaries and affiliated businesses are comprised of this brand.
Walton Motors, Walton Electronics, Walton mobiles, Walton hi-tech industries, etc., are the subsidiaries. Walton is the first Bangladeshi brand that launches mobile phones in the market. In 2017, on 5th October, Walton launched its smartphone and tablet manufacturing company called “Walton Figi-Tech Industries.” And on 18th January 2018, Walton launched its first laptop and computer manufacturing plant. Nowadays, Walton is distributing 4500 models and types of electronic, electric, and automotive goods.
